Roman Emperor, had lots of sex (mostly with his sisters), Thought he was a god, went insane, stabbed in the face by his own officers and guards. Future Great Grandfather of one James Tiberius Kirk.

He took an average of 2 faceoffs per game played last season., so basically only when the centre was kicked out, likely.

On shootouts, he was 0 for 2 last season.

Gotta give that man credit for longevity.

I wonder if McDavid will hand the cup to Jokinen first?

Jokinen is no longer a good player. Not offensively at least. He went from a 60+ point guy two years ago to falling off the face of the earth in Florida last year. I watched him all season long hoping he'd get his mojo back. Did not happen. Edmonton has its new whipping boy.

Decent gamble for the Oilers. Was last year a fluke or is he is on a deep decline? If he can get back to 40-50 points, its a steal at that cost. Given the lack of interest - seems most NHL teams are thinking he's done as an offensive guy.

Before each trade deadline he's required to submit a list of 30 teams he'd rather play for.

Good chance this will be one of the best signings of the offseason. Jokinen tends to be very good when he starts on a new team.

He'll look good with Maroon doing the mucking and McDavid being McDavid. $1.1M is a steal

Enjoy his 10 goals and 25 points, Oilers.

Will fill that Eberle hole no problem.

Credit where credit is due, he'll put up way more points next to McNuggies than they're paying him for. It's a good value signing.

Being a soft no hitter should help as well.
