I remember late in the regular season they rolled into Calgary and just dominated the Flames in a way i had seen very few teams do so at any point to any other team that year. The score was only 3-0, but it might as well have been 9-0. Calgary couldn't get a sniff and that LA defensive team game was something to behold. I knew then they were going to have a real shot and IIRC Vancouver was their first round fodder.

Best 8th seed ever.

Pens are looking good this game. Fiesty. They have definitely come with the idea of finishing this series tonight.

Pittsburgh not burrying their chances. Could be 3-zip.

I was at that game, flames were thoroughly dominated, realized we weren't making the playoffs that year.

Booo stupid early whistle. Murray wasn't even close to having that covered.

They're trying to make the Preds become the first American team to riot

Yikes. Flames had a goal allowed after the whistle last season IIRC.

The reffing in the NHL is the absolute worst in professional sports

Horrible positioning by the ref on the no goal. Get as close to the net as possible instead of going for a leisurely skate.

And that non-Predators goal is the reffing in a nutshell for the 2016-17 season.

Ruins the game for everyone. I can't remember a season with this many issues involving the reffing.
