Unreal. He had the puck on the blue line not inside the zone. Doesn't matter if his leg is up. Bs

Absolutely brutal.
That is not the spirit of the offside review process, so make the right call.

The NHL is so stupid sometimes who wants that goal taken back other than the Penguins?

Lame. The play went for how long after? Maybe the Pens shouldn't have been running around and giving the puck away?

Some guy may have had his toe off the ice way before a goal was scored...let's call that offside. Guys, this is an NBC game, Subban scoring is a good thing.

Stupid NHL. Hopefully this joke of a rule coming up in the finals is enough motivation to get rid of it.

Can you imagine how Preds fans feel? I would be absolutely beside myself if that was a Sabres goal called back in the finals like that.

For offside challenges it should be clear enough to the official on a small tablet within 10 seconds that they made the wrong call. If it takes any longer the call on the ice should stand.

I hate offside reviews. It's like in baseball where they review a play at second to see if he loses contact with the bag for a millisecond to call him out - neither is what the spirit of the rule is, but as soon as its reviewable you get what you get.

The league needs fewer reviewable things as it grinds the game to a halt, just let the refs make the calls.

What if it was a Dallas Stars goal that wasn't called back and then they changed the rule the next season?

The NFL changes its rules to promote more scoring because fans love offense. MLB turned a blind eye to a generation of roiders because it was fantastic for fans to watch homerun records fall. The NHL in spite of its fans seems like the only league that hates offense. Rules to overturn goals galore on the most marginal of plays. How many times have we seen buildings celebrate goals only to be deflated when it's called back due to a highly debatable offside for goaltender interference? Unbelievable how poorly this league continues to treat its fans.

15 seconds from the zone entry until the goal, and Pittsburgh had possession of the puck during that time.

Hopefully that will be the ruling that makes the league change the rules next season like the Hull goal was what finally got the foot-in-crease rule changed.

With all the offside reviews what do they even need linesmen for? Review every goal for offside, have refs call the icings and drop pucks, and have two bouncers waiting off the ice to break up fights.

LOL I guess putting the whistles away only applies to certain teams. What's the chance the officials call two minors against the Penguins?

What I can't get over is the Pens got the puck back and then turned it over
