This will be the third time these two teams have played each other in the playoffs. It was last year when the teams played and Nashville won in seven games. The Predators won the series in six games back in 2011.

Even if the Predators weren't playing a Ducks team that I hate only slightly less than Edmonton, I would still be heartily cheering for that team. They're a likable group, and their fans are in beast mode right now. Just listening to that crowd is entertainment enough. Those fans deserve a big win!

I'm on this bandwagon with both feet. I've been cheering for Nashville since we got knocked out and would love to see PK hoist the cup. Plus now I can enjoy watching Kelser get beat. If it can't be us, then Nashville is a happy choice. Go Preds!

I will get flamed along with you, but I don't hate the Ducks. Just a bunch of their players - Kesler, Perry and Bieksa to be specific.
I do not hate Getzlaf, Eaves, Silfverberg, Fowler, Ritchie. I like Cogliano like I now like Dubnyk and Schultz. I kinda like Carlyle now - he did a good job. I was biased against him before because I dislike anything Leafs.

to be honest, i am fine with the ducks winning. Bieksa not even playing, kesler did awesome against mcdavid, their d is made up of kids who have looked amazing. Getzlaf is a front runner candidate for the conn smythe so far. They haven't been their brutal/nasty selves even in the first round.
Love the preds too though. they have TRULY built from the D out. Their d is so good and that's after removing the likes of weber, suter, hamhuis, franson, jones over the past few years. It's amazing.
i am so happy to just sit back and watch what i expect should be a great, even series..
