And let's also note that the next great leaf defenceman, Stuart Percy, is no longer wanted by a team that's not the leafs.

It's so funny to look back on the time that he left and all the opportunity he would have been given to make this team with both Regehr and Jaybow gone within a year. If he hadn't been so full of himself and thought the flames wouldn't give him a real shot hisdevelopment might have progressed better... he still probably wouldn't have made it though with the emergence of Brodie as an nhler shortly after he jumped ship but his pro career has really struggled.

I don't event remember except someone called him Tom by mistake. I like calling him Tom because it is a show of disrespect not to even call someone by their right first name. I'm petty like that.

Good ol' Erixon. Prior to the Erixon deal, the Flames had the 13th overall pick, the 104th overall pick, 134th overall pick and 164th overall pick. Do the Flames use their second pick in the draft on a 5'6'' 145 pound highschool kid in that situation?
I think getting Granlund and Wotherspoon may have provided a buffer that allowed the Flames to take the risk with their 104th pick. I don't know if they take that risk without those two second round picks acquired thanks to Tim wanting to play for Daddy's Team.
