Thought it would be okay to separate this from the Oneplus One thread.

Wanted to let people know that the OP2 is available for immediate purchase (without invitation) from the Oppomart website.

I just ordered the 64 GB version. That's all they had in stock atm. It's supposed to ship within 48 hours.

Reliable site? I was about to go drop $800 on a Galaxy S6 because I didn't think I'd be likely to get a OnePlus 2 soon.

There are some pretty negative reviews of the site out there, but they all seem to be 10 -11 months old, from when the Oneplus One was first launched. I don't believe it is a scam site.

Android Authority seems to think it is a legit ecommerce site connected to the manufacturer. Some people seem to believe it might not be the same model that will be offered internationally. I'm thinking it will be the same. The Oneplus One roll out was quite a sh*tshow. I'm betting that Oneplus have learned some lessons from that.

I guess time will tell. I paid through PayPal so I have some protection there.

The phone is supposed to ship within 48 hours, which more or less ties into the August 11 release date.

I'll update this thread over the course of week - good or bad. Hopefully I'll be able to confirm the phone arrived in good order.

Hope this isn't the chinese version!

I didn't do my research for the OP1 and ended up buying a chinese one,
super lame.

From what I read on another site, it is the Chinese version.

And apparently Samsung is cutting prices on the S6 line, so I think I'll wait a few weeks and see on that as well.

I can confirm that the phone offered on Oppomart is the Chinese/World/non-North American version of the phone. Oppomart customer service actually sent me an email with the specs of their phone and asked me to confirm that I want to go ahead with the order.

The LTE bands on this phone will not work in North America, although you would have 3G/HSPA+ service.

Since I spend more time in Azerbaijan (which operates on the 1800 LTE band) than in Canada I went ahead with my order anyway. Cell phone prices are insane in Baku so worst case I'm confident I can double my money selling the OP2 here if I decide I'd rather have the North American version.

Just to update, my wife took delivery of the international version of the Oneplus 2 I ordered from Oppomart. I can't comment on the phone or features because I won't be home for another month.

For what its worth though, the buying experience from the Oppomart store was a good one. No issues.

I sold my OnePlus Two but the buyer is complaining that the OxygenOS is incompatible with a lot of popular apps like Facebook and Snapchat. Is this true?
