Anyone with Optik (myself included) know how to turn this on? I am at work, so I don't imagine I can simply go home, turn on my 360 and boom have TV?! There must be a download?

Looking at the TELUS website it looks like there is an extra 5 dollar a month charge to use the 360 as a set top box. The fine print also mentions that a tech will have to be sent out and that there is a $100 fee. This might only apply to a service call for an extra physical box though.
I wonder if I decided to sign up for 2 years if it a new xbox they give you or an old one. Sucks I just signed up for telus a month ago but didnt sign a contract

Sucks that I'm not eligible for Optik in my condo, this would actually be worth a consideration otherwise.
On another hand though, I'm not that surprised. TELUS was extremely quick to jump on the advertising bandwagon with Microsoft when they did those two seasons of 1 vs 100. I thought 'good on them for embracing new mediums and taking advantage of the adspace.'
