Again, the Ottawa radio guys watched this guy a lot with the Olympiques, and they actually seem pretty stoked that the Flames picked him. Said that skating is his biggest asset. I am very skeptical of this pick, but ready to be surprised in the future.

What a strange pick


is there any doubt, that they could of traded down at 28, picked up a second AND taken this player


Time will tell, but i think this was a bad pick

Oh, what the hell.

So, at 22, the 14th ranked player by Central Scouting is available, but we take the 46th ranked guy instead.

God, we absolutely f'ing stink at this.

I feel bad for this kid. He's always going to be compared to the kids drafted just after him which is a little unfair. Hopefully the Flames know what they are doing here but I don't think this is good value for 22.
