Got caught up with the last 3 episodes. I thought they were all pretty good, but I am not a fan of how Gilfoyle has softened so much. Also not crazy about season 4 Jian Yang.
I didn't mind Erlich's exit from the show. It worked for his character, but allows a return later on if he decides he wants to be part of the show again.
Jared's deadpan delivery of his lines are always hilariously non-sequitur, "As a product of forced adoption, I can assure you there are consequences!". I spent a few moments wondering which way the adoption was forced.
Jian Yang takes it to a whole 'nother level this year. Love it.
I don't think I saw this level of depravity coming from Jian Yang. It's one of the greatest unexpected surprises of this season.
I still think this is one of the best shows on TV. It's maybe not quite as strong as the first season or two, but it's still so much better than so much TV out there. I think part of the reason it works so well is the "office space" style that it has. Everyone can relate to elements that are displayed on this show that are clearly exaggerated for humorous effect. Anyone who has any knowledge of Silicon Valley business can see this as nearly reality television. That's why it's so effective IMO. It's insane, but it's not that far from reality.

They're definitely throwing his character under the bus this season. Lots and lots of fat pig jokes.
I think the first 3 episodes this season have been really strong. Jared is still the star.
He's kind of a weird guy. I don't know if he's trying to be Andy Kaufman or what. Calling in a bomb threat.. is that his idea of performance art or has he really lost it?
I am glad TJ Miller left though. I felt like his character had played out with no real direction for the future. And since I love pretty much all of the other characters, opening up more screen time for them is a win in my books.
