Not watching, but my prediction is that it ends in contreversy and the losing camp demanding a rematch

Same prediction I'll make for Survivor Series as well

I don't think Algeri can win but I also thought he lost to Provodnikov so who knows. Manny might do more damage but Algeri might throw more punches and box a little better. Manny would be wise to knock him out.

Provodnikov vs. Algieri was a great fight, Provodnikov floored Algieri twice in the 1st round and was cruising his way to a decision until Algieri regained his legs and proved himself the better boxer. I don't see Algieri winning given the fact Pacman's undefeated in Macau xD

Lomachenko is an animal, 1,000 punches thrown and fought 5 rounds with a broken hand. Amazing performance.

Manny wins by unanimous decisions, knock Algieri down 6 times throughout the course of the fight. /endthread

There is no one worth fighting for either Pacquiao or Mayweather, so their PPV numbers will be tanking now if they don't fight each other.

Definitely, although Mayweather will not be fighting Manny until at least Fall 2015 as he is too busy pulling a dick move by breaking up the Cotto-Canelo fight next May and making Cotto fight him.

Honest question. Does anyone watch and/or care about boxing anymore?

Nope, I would agree with you if the fight is between Pacman and Marquez.

MMA has certainly let the North Americans' focus shift away from Boxing but I am no fan of MMA. Boxing is still my prefered sport of choice. I just don't go out of my way to find good fights anymore as they're so far and few between.

Pacquiao and Mayweather should've happened years ago but now will take place in the twilights of their careers which is so disappointing.

I'll still watch it though. I miss the days of Lennox Lewis, Oscar De LaHoya , Jones JR.

The only way that will happen is if Mayweather run out of excuses of fighting Pacquiao. He keeps saying Pacquiao is no match to him and he can easily and yet he tried to avoid him asking for drug test before the fight and some other excuses.

Mayweather would counter/shoulder roll Pacquiao 12 rounds and be done.

Rather see Canelo vs Cotto or either of them take on GGG.

Canelo-Cotto is almost certainly happening, although Floyd could be a mega###### and refuse Manny and then take Cotto on for a useless rematch. GGG, well, no one wants any part of that. Canelo says he does but GGG would bury him in 6 or less. See that's the problem with boxing, someone like GGG should be a superstar but no one of consequence wants to fight him so he has to take whoever he can. And then you got Andre Ward who'd make for a great matchup for GGG, but he hasn't fought for a year because of promotional crap. Boxing is often its own worst enemy.
