Default Flames lose 4-3. Questionable Team Defense

God, bad in our own end again.

When will it end?

That was the worst defensive performance I can remember out of a flames team.
Almost felt bad for Ramo at times

edit: and when is Mony going to stop hanging onto the puck for a lifetime in the slot? It has happened half a dozen times this year and last year he pulled the trigger and scored. Now he waits and waits and waits and either has it taken off his stick or blocked.

That play by gio at the end to ice it was an absolute idiotic play. Gave this team no chance to try for it since their face offs were god awful. Just a #### game to watch tonight

Wideman, Gio, Ramo are my Goats.

Johnny really should have been able to finish one with all his chances but not going to be to harsh on that.

Wideman needs to learn how to control the puck. Tons of plays died on his stick tonight.

All the talk of our NHL leading defence was a joke. These guys are out of it most nights.

Tampa lost to Buffalo. We arrive just in time to bust that slump for them.

Way too soft in front of the net. Not hard to play against.

I'm getting so sick of this crappy crappy goaltending.

Yes, I realize team defence has not been good, but when you have no confidence in the goalie stopping even anything remotely hard, you tend to start chasing pucks instead of playing the man.

When is the goaltending going to get addressed? Trade for someone, ANYONE!

Flames as a group are just brutal defensively. Just a comedy of errors game after game. I think the Stockton Heat are probably more solid in their own zone right now. If Engelland is your most solid defenseman, you have big issues. christ. Goaltending hasn't helped at all either. Terrible.

Wideman is not an NHL quality defenceman. Make him a forward or get rid of him. He sucks at the defensive side of the puck.

can someone explain to me why Ramo would try and save that Jagr shot with his trapper instead of his leg?

You know, that long thing with the giant pad on it?

And here I thought the Flames had finally turned the corner after last game. I was so very wrong. This team is garbage. And WTF is up with our captain? I really hope it has something to do with his injury. The guy was a Norris candidate last year fer f--- sakes. Seriously, what gives?

Oh, and Treliving needs to get us a goalie.
