Most of that BS came from your beloved Feaster.
Treiliving was actually close to doing it while Feaster was typically all talk.

Agreed. Its all about total cost. Who cares about after-tax dollars when your paycheques are cut in half?

Stay the course on the rebuild, have a plan. If they outperform expectations, its just gravy. Nothing else.
To be clear, it sounds like that's exactly what the team is doing. Dreger's opinion is what irks me.

Dreger is an idiot.

According to Treliving. Nothing happened on either end, so both seem to be in the same boat. I'll believe this is possible when I see it happen for the first time.

The volume of non-sense from BT is way less than JF.

True, but both of them "just talked" about that issue in particular, so it's a bit ridiculous to say Feaster only talked about it

I think Jeremy Morin is falling out of favour in Chicago. Should be a cheap reclamation right shooting RW.

Has the tools to score but lacks a toolbox to use his teammates, we have enough 3rd line prospects. would rather try and pry Mark McNeill from them.

If he could be had for cheap, I'd love to take a flyer on Morin. He's talented, but buried on that Blackhawks team and could be an effective player if given a chance. Plus he'd fill an organizational need (right handed RW with some size).

So when Burke traded 7th Dman Brent Lebda for young up and coming current top 4 Dman Cody Franson and garbage contract Matt Lombardi that doesn't count?
That is exactly the type of deal I think Treliving is looking for

With Feaster it was a plan, with Treliving it's just something that could maybe happen.

Doesn't he play LW too? That just makes it a bonus.

Could anyone imagine Treliving making a comment along the lines of "Half of the GMs in the league called to congratulate me on getting Brandon Bollig".
Or "Ollas-Mattsson is the best defenceman not in the NHL and 10 years from now will be the best player from the 2014 draft".
It was like buying your hockey from a sleazy used car salesman.

hmm Friedman on HNIC says that Philly is telling teams that if you want one of their valuable available players you have to take another contract if you want the deal done.

Perfect for Calgary. This is where we can really make something happen, our cap situation is set up for it.

The crappy part is that we need defence and Philly isnt going to part with anyone they've got and we dont really want anything they have other than some of their younger forwards.
