Wotherspoon was sneaking up on the play and let one go that MacDonald had to make a save on.

It shows Wolf with an A on the official scoresheet. So yea, wasn't seeing things.

Bulldogs putting a little pressure on Ortio with a couple of shots but the defence have showed up to the game tonight and clear it out.

MUCH BETTER showing by the defence tonight.

Ryan Culkin, man. I never thought he'd be as impactful as he has this season. Pleasantly surprised by him.

Yonkman loses his stick and picks up the wrong one. He looks like he's playing with a kid's stick.

Flames all over MacDonald again.

Tousignant and Stevenson taking shots. Everyone just circling him.

Poirier is getting in front of shots now. He's had 2 blocks just in this one shift.

Good physical game from the Flames. A lot better after last night's snoozer

Just saw on the Flames twitter that Brodie Reid signed with the Rochester Americans and he scored tonight. Didn't take him too long to get another contract.

Ryan Huska Interview:

Not happy with game last night. Poor effort, poor game. Nothing to be pleased about.

Utica controlled too much of the play in the games they played. Flames have a certain style and all players need to play the same way. Reminded players of that this morning and when everyone is committed to that play, they have success.

PP has been a little stagnant lately. No good for last 10-15 games. Needs to simplify the PP. Tons of things not going well, players trying to do things as individuals. They all need to get back on the same page. Control pucks, get pucks on net.

Lots of guys on scoreless streaks but they are getting producers from odd places. Great having depth and it contributes to long term success. To be elite at AHL level, players like Reinhart, Tousignant, Agostino need to get more consistent.

Ferland's last game was by far his best game. Moving his feet, all over the ice. Felt that he was standing around too much in some previous games and waiting for the "pretty plays". They are looking for him to play the same way he did in Utica tonight and to continue that style of play.

Need to stop the quality chances for opposing team in front of the net. Guys need to understand that there are things they do with the puck on the opposite end of the ice have an effect on what will happen on their own side. Need to work on those opportunities.

Speaking of Tousignant, he just got a secondary assist on the Poirier goal.

His pointless streak is snapped at 9 games.

Assist to Baertschi and Arnold

Baertschi and him just ripped up the ice and put that in! 1:19 into the 2nd period

Bulldogs trying to get Gillies to fight again.

Speaking of fights, here's the Stevenson/Dietz tilt: http://www.hockeyfights-video.com/de...ce=twitterfeed

That pass by Sven was a beauty. Poirier's goal was a tap in, that was all Sven.

MacDonald with 3 goals on 11 shots. And almost gave up a hat trick to Poirier.

He doesn't make it to the 3rd period.

The only one he didn't have a chance on was the 3rd one. The other two didn't appear to have screens. He's not having a good game.
