Where to find Nintendo classic mini?

My Best Buy order has changed from "delivered as early as Sept 29", to Oct 2. Credit card still hasn't been charged.

In the exact same situation. Card charged but date moved to Oct. 2nd.

Going to venture out tomorrow morning to see if I can snag one, as I really wanted to have it this weekend. Would either sell the extra for face value, or send back.

If someone has an extra one i will be trying to pick one up tomorrow morning but if not i have 3 people looking to buy one.

I still think that people will be complaining about not being able to get one regardless of the stock situation tomorrow. Still, it seems like stock is better than the NES.

But one from NA, Japan and Europe for myself. And couple for family and coworkers who don't understand the concept of preordering.

At least you aren't scalping them. I really don't take issue with anyone ordering multiple for themselves.

I think one problem with the NES release last year was that it was released on Remembrance Day and a lot of people had the day off to line up.

What's the difference between the Japanese and European versions? I know the NA one is with the old NA console look. Weren't the old Japanese and European versions have the same look?

But remember last year it was a lot more colder in November and that might deter people away from lining up. Right now the weather is more than decent and I think there will be a number of people going to line up.

Just like how the actual PAL/JP Super Nintendo looked better than the North American model, so too it is with the Classic Mini

And the Japanese edition includes a number of games that we won’t be getting in Western versions of the hardware, like Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and Konami’s The Legend of the Mystical Ninja.

What time would you guys recommend lining up tomorrow morning? Should all Walmarts have them?

They open at 7AM and the one at Northland says they hand out tickets until they are gone, first come first serve

Last year I arrived at the Westbrook Walmart at 5am and was 2nd in line. They had 12 units (1 box). I would imagine all the Walmarts will have similar amounts (12 to 16, no more than 24 I think). You should go there tonight and ask the electronics guy nicely to see how many units they have available.

Sounds like it's not the differences between the different versions that are cosmetic, even the difference between the NES and SNES mini is cosmetic! The guts seem the same and the hacking tools made for the NES mini work on the SNES mini, so expect lots of other games to be added.

Ya, so got an email saying my order was delayed due to inventory issues, but then checked and had a tracking number. Who knows at this point.
