You know I didn't like the Chris Tanev signing when it happened and I think I'm usually right about those things... I say usually because I was dead wrong about Chris Tanev. Kind of guy you have to watch night in and night out to truly appreciate. I hope we sign him in the offseason.

The term warrior gets thrown around in the NHL far too often IMO.

Simply calling Chris Tanev a warrior just begins to paint the picture of what he really is.

Kind of deflating to trade Tanev; even though it's a good move to make.
He's just one of those rare players you really love having on your team and respect so much as a player.

IIRC he got injured in the 2022 series against Dallas in game 5 or 6, which may have cost us the Edmonton series next round.
Honestly hope he lifts the Cup, even though I dont like Dallas, he deserves it.

Man he is going to be missed. Funny how when we signed tanev 4x $4mm this place was in an up roar. He earned every penny!!!! Hard not to luv this guy and what he brings!
