What were the Mets supposed to do? Noah said he felt fine. It was a minor bone spur in his elbow which Matz is going through as well. The plan was for Matz to get surgery in the offseason as his is more severe than Thor's.
Noah just came off a dominant outing against the Cubs and was most likely going to start the All Star game. We don't know what the issue is with Noah yet but I'm hoping for the best.
As a Mets fan, it's been a tough day. Harvey done for the year, Cespedes left the game tonight as did Noah. I'm hoping for some good news.
Update: Reports on Syndergaard is that he was removed due to arm fatigue. Not elbow related. I'd be shocked if he isn't replaced for the All Star game.
