Default SF IV Fighting Stick

I'm loving the game so far, except when I get steam rolled online by guys with arcade sticks. So to even the score I'm looking to pick one up. I've looked at EB, Futureshop/Bestbuy with no luck. Anyone have any leads to where I could find one? This is for the PS3.

These don't come out until March 15

Best bet is to pre-order one. I believe they are $85 each

I'm waiting for mid-March for Mad Catz to replenish the stock for the tournament edition sticks.

I heard that is "the" stick to get. It is built with the same material used to make the cabinet for the actual arcade machine and it uses the exact same parts for the stick and buttons as the arcade machine. But it's also $150......

Damn, March 15th?? I'm trying with the 360 controller, I really am, but pulling off those crazy combos with ultras is a real pain in the ass...

Ars Technica loved the Mad Catz stick.

Edit: LOL, I got tied up in re-reading it.

I was going to wait till Mid March for the TE stick but I lucked out on a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 from Play Asia and it just shipped today. Just another option for those looking for a stick.

I heard MAS makes a good stick too: www.massystems.com. They also use real arcade components, but not Sanwa. Though it doesn't say, it does support PS3 and XBox360. They will ship it with the appropriate adapter. They are made to order, so you can get it in a couple of weeks from the time of ordering.

I'm personally waiting for the TE. I want the Sanwa components.

OK so I rent the game and play through on easy just to get back into the game, then I figure that was damn easy so I go to hardest and beat it. 20 min to finish the hardest level? Its claim to fame MUST be the online play.

Sorry about the year old bump, but I've gotten back into Street Fighter 4 after a year of it jsut collecting dust. I'm going to be buying Super Street Fighter 4 aswell sometime next week, and Street Fighter x Tekken whenever that comes out.

Question is, does the SF gaming pad for the 360 work any better then the normal 360 controller, or should I just go all out and get the arcade stick?

You need to get the official arcade stick or at least a competent quality arcade stick with proper switches. There is no going back.
