There's no way they bring him back now IMO.

Completely #### the bed at the start of the season and completely #### the bed in the playoffs.

How can the team truly have faith in him after this.

I thought I wanted him re-signed during the hot streak, but he's just way too hot/cold for my liking. Rebound control is terrible, and those soft goals just kill you.

Rutherford has to be loving this. He's finally found a team desperate enough for a goalie to solve his Fleury problem, and probably give up decent pieces too.

At this point -- both are gone. You have to wonder if this reflects on Treliving as well?

I play beer league hockey and for crying out loud our goaltender would have saved that first goal. He's clueless. You can't let that puck get by you. Our goal-tending will kill us this playoffs.

I think Sigalet should also be done as goaltending coach.

Can someone explain to me how Sigalet still has his job? Almost every goalie has gotten worse than before under him.

Not unless Bishop won't sign here for a fair price IMO.

There are also young goalies that will be out there, and we know Treliving went after Talbot, Jones and Murray the past couple seasons.

Ha ha ha did this thread even need to be made? There's a 101% chance Elliott is not a Flame next season.

Is he still wearing his mask on the bench?

Sigalet has turned Calgary into a goalie graveyard.

There would be a fan mutiny if he returned. I admired his bounce back for the second half. He was reliable. But his playoff performance has sealed his fate with the team. Might be tricky for him to land an NHL contract next year, unfortunately.

This is why you don't sign players in middle of a hot steak. You can't ignore his start and finish.

Both are garbage and should never play for the Flames again.

Yep if GM's operated like this both Johnson and Elliott would have been locked up after their streaks. How bad would that look right now? Both of them this season were barely upgrades on last season's debacle.

Elliott shouldn't have got the start to begin with. Gulutzan is to blame for being unable to make the easiest decision ever.
