ESPN 30 for 30
Really have gotten into this series and some of the episodes they've had. Watching the Ricky Williams story right now and blown away at how good it is.
Anyone else been tuning in? Got a favourite so far?

Kings Ransom was okay - nothing new or that insightful that most hockey fans in Canada wouldn't know.
My favourite so far was the Reggie Miller episode. Didn't like the AI one.
Just watching the Ricky Williams one now. Good so far!

I beg to differ. I consider myself quite the Gretzky fan, and still learned a lot from the doc.
I kinda got sucked into watching the last 10 mins of the Fantasy Baseball one. So much so that I have set a reminder to record it when it's on again.
All in all, a fantastic series. Very well done.

Ya I would have to side the the University of Miami documentary, was pretty funny to hear that Miami Dolphins' players were asking U players to help get them into the clubs.... pure gold.

I've watched most (all?) of them - I love The U, Reggie Miller and the Ricky Williams one.
Coming up (sometime in May... I want to say May 13th) is the prevalence of the Raiders logo/colors/gear in gang culture... hosted by Ice Cube. Should be interesting.

Ya I have seen most of them all as well, either hit or miss for me
Da U, Reggie Miller, Ricky Williams, Len Bias were all great
Gretzky one, Allen Iverson trial, fantasy baseball, guru of go and a couple others were all I thought pretty boring
some good ones upcoming though, the Raiders one, the one of the OJ chase and everything else that happened that day, the one on the murder of Andres Escobar (scored an own goal at the 1994 world cup, columbian), the one about the 1995 world cup (invictus was based on this as well), one on Bartman and the Cubs
most looking forward to the one Steve Nash is doing on Terry Fox though

The U and Reggie Miller were excellent. Saw the AI one and although I had no idea he went through all that (could care less about basketball) I thought the episode was kinda boring. Missed the Gretzky/Kings one. Would like to see that. All in all I think they are well done though.

I've seen the The U, Kings Ransom, Reggie Miller, and the fantasy baseball one "silly little game". All of them have been great. Good idea by ESPN on this.
EDIT: Forgot the USFL. Good one too since I had no idea of that league.

Wow, just saw the 30 for 30 that was about the 1995 rugby world cup, same thing Invictus was about. South Africa and all that. I may have to change my vote, that was amazing.

Only seen the Ricky Williams one. It was incredible, but I thought the guy sympathized with him too much. Having your Pro Bowl RB retire a week before TC is a dick move, I don't care what your reasons are.

Straight Outta L.A. was pretty good last night, Al Davis looked like he was exhumed for that interview.
Watching Howie Long rap was painful though.
