My good friend is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wolverhampton, he texted me that the mood about town today is rather somber.

People thought Wolves had a really good shot of winning this one and not a lot of good things happen to Wolverhampton so a lot of people sort of had their hearts set on it.

Perhaps Wolverhampton should Brexit from Britain?

Coventry were definitely deserved winners, if not for Sa having a great game in net they might have won going away. Still, to be up 2-1 in the 95th and not even get to extra time is pretty devastating.

I've only seen bits and pieces but Wolves were defending like it was their first time or like schoolboys on a Sunday kickabout.

It was a very open game, not a lot of empty possession trying to break the other down, wish we got more PL games like that.

should have been up 2-0, then pissed away a solid first half within 2 minutes and followed that up with a predictably lethargic second half. Frustrating as ####.

there's no replay. It'd go to extra time and pens.

yeah that could have been a magical moment at OT and would have silenced his critics. Bottled it instead. Shame.

And with Liverpool taking the lead it figures to be a rough few days ahead for Rashford, he's gonna get cooked.

Thing is, it was a good effort, its not like he fired a sitter into Row Z or anything, he shaved the post.

But you're right the British media dont care, if Liverpool win this they're going to crucify Rashford for that miss and, I don't think its fair but its the British media.

While it wasn't an embarrassing effort, it also wasn't a very good effort. That should be a goal 9 times out of 10, bad news for him is that was the 1.
