Why would it be a bad idea? Honest question, it's not like a phone number is some super private piece of information. People post their numbers on kijiji all the time.

I guess it is personal preference.
I don't want that type of info out and about.
There are plenty of people that post on Kijiji and don't include a phone number (I am one of those people).
