PJ's pledging a frat later, that's why he's wearing that costume.

It is still amazing to me that he was gifted a panel position. He was in over his head describing highlights, and now his opinion is suddenly worthwhile?

They have the beginings of what could be a good panel with Friedman...But the rest I feel like are completely throwaway comments.
It's a shame, too. Healy probably could be a decent commentator because he has tremendous contacts throughout the PA, the league and agents. Except he's a huge jerk who is likely being coached or promoted to be more outlandish than is necessary, or, isn't coached or promoted to not be so outlandish.
You can glean info out of him occasionally, but he's so lacking in credibility it's often worthless.
Weekes is ok but inarticulate and when he is, he's not saying much. If I wanted platitudes I'd watch player interviews.
The old satelite hotstove was the best. John D, Eric D, Al Strachan when he was tolerable, Ron Maclean when he was at his best and was simply throwing to the previously mentioned guys. That was some interesting television to watch if you wanted to know more than just what was happening on the ice.

Agreed regarding Healy. His Leafs loyalty doesn't help. In the pre-game he predicted that the Leafs would play better because Sundin was in the building. Elliote quickly pointed out that they lost 5-0 to Montreal when the Leafs honoured him last year.

What a brutal dive by Perron, I do not understand why they call both the hook and the dive, or if they have to call both I think that diving should be an automatic 4 minute penalty.

That's interesting, actually.
Double Minor for unsportsmanlike diving.

That is how you counter attack on a turn over.

No matter how bad things are for the Flames, it's always fun watching the coil get smoked.

The Blues look great defensively. Flames could be in for a frustrating game tomorrow.

It's hard to believe there's a hockey analyst out there that could be even worse than Healy, but I think PJ Stock has managed to surpass him. That quite a feat in itself I must say.
