Default Strong men more likely to vote Conservative

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...servative.html

The more I think about it, the more I agree. In fact, I think it goes even deeper than purely physical strength (to include other "strengths" such as confidence, leadership, etc..) and includes both genders.

Among my friends and family, the ones who vote Conservative are the "leaders" of their household. They make the most money, they are the dominant personality. This usually falls among gender lines (men voting conservative), but in the circumstances where the woman is the more dominant "leader" in the family, she tends to vote Conservative more than her husband/boyfriend.

Alas, there was no distinction for Wildrose (that must be for really strong men)

Selfish, steroid-abusing, type "A" bullies.

It makes sense to me that people who stand to have a good chance of thriving in an 'Eat what you Kill' environment would be more conservative voters.

Is that for Wildrose voters? Or Conservative voters in general?

I love studies like this, they are always good for a laugh. Like the one about how most hunters are, uhhh, at a masculine disadvanatage shall we say, compared to non-hunters.

Well I guess its all anecdotal, but I mkae the most money in my household, run my own business which is entirely "eat what you kill" and entirely dependent on the capital markets. I don't need to tell many here that I'm not a conservative voter by the Canadian definition of conservative though.

If this is true, certain posters on CP must be 10 feet tall and club things to death with red wood trees.

I know, but the thing is I think I'm more conservative than the conservatives in some respects! I know that this will get me flamed, but the line between the conservatives and liberals (both non-capitalised) isn't a great chasm. Its like the difference between Coke and Pepsi; they're both colas.

A very unflattering article to read if you're a conservative.

In between sipping latte's and polishing my Tori Amos cd collection I like to run over small animals with my very large car, yell at my wife and bench press several impoverish neighbourhoods.

I doubt CaptainCrunch votes Conservative. He always stuck me as an NDP type of fellow. Same with Mikey.

NDP? ....not with their cap/trade carbon tax policy.

Although I have mostly conservative values, I didn't vote in that last election. I tend to vote for candidates rather than parties.

I was just pullin' your leg Mikey. Your support of Ron Paul is indication enough that I didn't need to use green text

My vote is completely for sale, I'd vote Marxist/Leninist if they promised me a voting seat on the Politbuero
