again, it says 80k everywhere else. The only outlets who have different numbers are the Mirror (100k) and the Mail (120k) ... feel free to trust those great newspapers if you want to

Schneiderlin to Everton is done.

Still nuts.

And I hate that, Schneiderlin is a good player, Everton just got better.

I really hope he does well there, always rated him highly. Just didn't work at United, which is too bad. Everton say they are paying an initial £20m with £4m in add-ons, which really is great business for everybody involved IMO.

According to Sky, Olympique Lyon have failed with a bid for Memphis Depay. I really wonder what the evaluation for him is at this point, but I'd be happy if United could sell him for a decent fee. Useless player.

Agreed, it was a good bit of business for both United and Everton.

You're really that low on Depay huh? I dont get him, he was supposed to be the next Arjen Robben, but he just never seemed to put it all together, but then again, Robben had unsuccessful stints at big clubs as well. The thing that I find most strange is that hes rubbish and surplus to requirements at United, but the Dutch National Team still rate him fairly highly.

When all is said and done, Depay will end up like Marko Arnautovic or Ricardo Quaresma if you ask me. Incredibly talented, but incredibly lazy. It's no coincidence that both van Gaal and Mourinho have prefered a guy like Jesse Lingard over him ... in terms of talent, Lingard isn't even in the same universe as Depay, but he works hard, runs and gives it all for the team. Depay is not interested in that kind of stuff.

I would agree with that assessment, bearing in mind I have less knowledge of Depay.

Maybe he figures it out, but I do always wonder about players like that, its like they have all the talent but dont want to put in the hard work. You're a professional athlete, its going to be hard work until you retire, but its a short career.

On the one side there is the risk of losing a ... say 10M fee for him against the risk of paying him another 4M/year.

Depay made the same mistake many have made and many more will as well

You shouldnt take that step-up until you are ready

Jack rodwell, Scott Sinclair, shaqiri, Marko Marin etc.

He can still come good and United would be smart to loan him not sell

I'll call that a toss-up, he was pretty good before he got into Klopp's doghouse over that drug fiasco.

And at least they're trying to get rid of him but I dont blame anyone for not wanting to take on those wages.

He is a good player, I really liked him when he was playing.

So Pogba now has his very own emoji that you can use when you hashtag him. I mean Payet did too, but the snake emoji is for everyone to use and not specifically for Payet.

In what Universe was Sakho ever worth £105K/week? Holy crap wages are insane these days.

Maybe not all is well for Chelsea as Costa will sit this weekend. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/...aining-ground/

I'm not sure that there is a more unlikeable player?

Well if the rumour is right he'll be the highest paid, least liked player in the world. Apparently China came calling with the offer, £30 million a year. I still have no idea where this money is coming from for a league, as far as I can tell, no one in this thread has ever seen more than highlights of (except probably Girly lol). Is it that huge in China?
