It'll take me a lot to switch back from Chrome.

I recently switched back to Chrome, the latest FireFox has been constantly crashing and chewing up resources like a pig.

The only other thing I didn't like about Chrome was the adblock extension, in Firefox it stops the browser from even making the call to begin with, while in Chrome it gets the ads but then hides them...
Well that and the memory usage.

Good? Bad?
I downloaded the beta at home, but haven't had a chance to install it yet, since I'm stuck at work right now.

I seem to like it so far. Mind you I don't know much about the minor details, it either works or it doesn't. However the layout is different, not sure where the addons are and such, plus i had to manually put the bookmark tool bar back on.

So, the census is it's good? Less resources and less crash happy as 3 is?

Yeah that's what it feels like. Seems a bit snappier than 3.6.x

I have never had a problem with crashing in Firefox outside of the crap Acrobat plugin. Love 3.6.6

Tried it, meh, not a big fan. I like the way the current FF looks. Like the top menu bars and my Flames persona. I suppose there is most likely options to get it looking similar, but the current FF works just fine for me, for now.

I suppose I should have known pretty much none of my plug-ins would be compatible.
It really does feel a lot like Chrome.

My face is a bum!

The only time I had problems with Firefox recently was when I had some Flames addon. I ditched that and striped it down to just a couple add-ons and no crashes or hangs ever. (On an iMac).

They recently added the Beta option for Chrome that allows you to stop downloads of ads rather than just hiding them.

Well then, I might consider switching! That was my #1 reason not to.

Liking this version 4. 3.6 before would crash at least once an hour, used a ton of memory if I left it open, and oh the horrible pausing with videos.
Now I get none of that!
