I haven't tried to make a poll in ages but it seems to be disabled now? I know I've seen them around, so, can we get a moderator to put those five into a poll please? Thank you.
BF1 I guess. was it not a great year for games or am I just slowly becoming less interested in them?
I don't know if it was a bad year for games. We didn't get the amount of AAA titles we have been used to getting in the fall. There were still some really good games but not really a game that would stand out as GOTY in most years. Blood & Wine was fantastic but I can't vote for an expansion to be GOTY so Doom it is for me as while it's not overly complex the fun factor is off the charts and it never got dull.

Battlefield 1 has my vote. I think it's a remarkable shooter, and I haven't even touched the campaign yet. Throwing on a good pair of cans and immersing yourself in those battles is fantastic, and Dice gets extra points from me for going with WW1 this time around.
As a side note, I originally started playing the game on vanilla PS4 but have since upgraded to the Pro, on which BF1 performs noticeably better.
Interestingly enough Overwatch and Doom are the only overlaps we have on our list vs. theirs. They probably didn't count Witcher 3 though, whereas we did.
Good to see they picked Stardew Valley and Darkest Dungeon on their list. Those are both great indie titles. I only picked up Darkest Dungeon recently, and it's quite good.

I'm glad they included Inside as well. I only just got it during the Steam sale or else I would have voted for it too. It's an amazing game. I can only play for about 15 minutes at a time because it's too intense.
I haven't played Darkest Dungeon yet. I know TotalBiscuit raved about it. He put out his awards the other day.
Yes, it's almost four hours long but he's very thorough.
