Send the guys home for a 4 or 5 days and then bring them back refreshed and ready.
Sounds like it's going to be close to 10 days off for the team (allow some guys to go home and see family etc.).

Drew Tate just proved to the coaching staff how horrible he actually is. When you have hands down the best receiving group in the league and you double clutch constantly and then panic to pass to the check down.
Tate proved he does not belong on this team next season or even The CFL.
22 for 37 what a disgrace. 8pts scored what a complete joke Tate is.
Bo Levi was probably thinking seriously dude how bad are you tinted visor boy.

Yeah Tate must feel like a pretty big boob right now.

Comes in after 14 straight Stamps wins, 16 straight without a loss, and puts up a real stinker.

In fairness though, when was the guys last start?

And as bad as the Als are, they actually have one of the better D's in the league.

I don't think Tate had taken a single offensive snap this season (someone can confirm).
Asking a lot for him to step in without a ton of rust.

Meh, if they win the Grey Cup nobody will care about this game, and even if they don't win it, stilll it won't matter.

I question not kicking the field goal on 3rd and 1 near the end there - that would have made it a one possession game, 17-11. There was time to get the ball back and get a TD after that, it was a really odd decision. I guess they were gambling that a TD would have rocked the Als back and made it easier to get a game-winning FG, but failing - like they did - meant game over.

3rd and 1 they should have brought in the short yardage team to get a first down.

Guess it's a good thing I missed the game.

Its really 2 years without any significant playing time.

80 pass attempts in the last 36 games.

It's truly hilarious the reaction of some towards his performance as it was never going to be great. QBing is all about timing and having a repoire with your receivers along with reacting to what you see. I doubt he has worked with most the wideouts for a couple years other than a few reps at the end of practices.

At any rate the game means literally nothing.

I like the idea of letting the guys get away for a week and a bit and just clear their heads and heal up. Come back and have a mini-camp for 10 days to get ready for the Lions or whoever. Get used to whatever the weather is doing at the time and then top this season with a GC game against the Eskimos...and just annihilate them.
