Harrison has always looked good at development camps.

Last year he was given very limited ice time and mostly 4th line. Looks like the coach is giving him more of an opportunity this year.

Tomorrow's (Halloween) 5pm MT Providence vs Boston University game will be streamed for free:

http://www.coxhub.com/articles/hallo...source=twitter

Watch Jankowski (if he is back from injury), Gilmour, Gillies and Hickey.

Also will feature some up and comer named Jack Eichel!

Link to the stream. You have to sign up, but in the past you could give fake information and it would let you watch.

Nice. That should be a good game. BU is undefeated and has outscored their opponents 12-3 in three games.

Providence hasn't started like the Hockey East favourite, although last week's games were against the #2 ranked team in the nation and they've started the season with two long trips to Ohio State and North Dakota. All but one of their games has gone to OT so far this season.

An update on the weekend's action...

All four teams with Flames prospects played two games this weekend, and all four teams won one and lost one.

MSU hosted Ferris State for two games. MSU lost Friday's game 1-0, despite outshooting FSU 36-16. They rebounded to win Saturday's game 4-1. DeBlouw was held off the score sheet in both games.

Colgate hosted Mercyhurst this weekend. Colgate won Friday's game 4-0. Mercyhurst won Saturday's game 2-1. After Harrison was named ECAC Player of the Week last week, he did not have a point this weekend.

Providence and Boston University played a home-and-home series this weekend, with the visiting team going home with the victory both nights. Friday night, Providence played their home opener. BU won the game 4-1. All three Flames prospects played in a game for PC for the first time this season, but it wasn't a good night for any of them. Gillies made 37 saves in the game, but it wasn't enough. Jankowski and Gilmour were both held to zero points. Jankowski was a -3 and Gilmour a -2. On the other side, Hickey also had zero points but was a +2 in the BU win.

Fortunes changed on Saturday night at BU. Gillies again made 37 saves, but this time, it was enough as PC won the game 2-1. Jankowski scored his first goal of the season in only his third game. It was an early powerplay goal and PC held the lead the rest of the way. John Gilmour didn't play in Saturday's game. For BU, Hickey had 5 shots in the game, but no points.

Providence has had a tough schedule in October, with 5 of their 6 games on the road, and their last 4 against nationally-ranked top-10 teams. Their schedule gets slightly easier in November, so if they are the real deal that they were predicted to be at the start of the season, they should start putting together a nice string of wins this month.

whatever happened to Matt Deblouw? 10 goals and 21 points in an excellent freshman season, and I remember he had a great first prospect camp in Calgary as well. But then his offense dried up completely and he only has 1 goal and 5 points in 29 games since then ... anybody know why? Dropped down on the depth chart or any other reason?

PC's Jon Gillies is #hockeyeast defensive player of week. 74 saves in split with BU. 17 3rd period stops on Sat. to preserve 2-1 win

Why is the NCAA hockey site so terrible? There is literally not a single bit of useful information to be found with any sort of ease.

Gillies made 33 saves in a 1-0 loss to Merrimack.

Jankowski finishes the weekend with an assist in 2 games.

Very happy to see Jankowski back in action. I have nothing to contribute other than a solid thanks for all the efforts in this thread.

I think we are hoping for janko to be ppg this year so hoping he steps it up a bit.

I think we all hope for PPG or even more, but I am just happy seeing progression. I don't care too much if it is a huge leap or small steps, I just hope Jankowski just keeps progressing every season. If he is indeed playing as the 1st line center this year, it will be very interesting to see how he does facing off against the NCAA's best defences.

how long has jankowski been back in action after his injury?

Any comment on his play thus far other than the one assist?
