Default Samsung Smart TV Owners

Have you been having issues with the Smart Hub lately? I can't access any apps, it just says "Smart Hub is being updated. Please try again later." This has been happening for over a week.

Anyone know if there's a fix for this? I tried resetting to factory settings and it didn't do anything. A Google search didn't give me any answers. Figured I'd try here before giving Samsung a call.

Been using youtube on my tv tonight without issue. Just checked netflix, working too. I would contact Samsung.

I haven't tried in a bit but there was definitely an alert last week saying it was going to be down for updates at some point.

Yeah mine said it would be down on the 25th IIRC. I've had no problems well I haven't really checked it lately. I'd say if it isn't back after the 25th, you have a problem.

I finally got around to contacting Samsung and they went through a bunch of troubleshooting steps with me and now everything works except for Netflix, the only app I use. They told me to contact Netflix to see if they could help me, and they told me to contact Samsung because they can't figure out what's wrong either.

I'm gonna throw this TV out a window pretty soon. I've only owned it since July and I'm pretty sure I've spent more time talking to Samsung customer service than I've spent watching TV.

I have a 2 year old SmartTV. Sometimes it hangs on updating and I have to restart it but it usually updates the apps alright.

I rarely use anything on there except Netflix and it's been okay so far.

Figured I'd highjack this thread instead of starting a new one.

I can't get the SmartView to work. I've tried two different computers.
Anytime I try to connect the computer to my TV to transfer a file, it says the connection failed.

My TV and computers are both connected to the same WIFI. TV is hard wired.

Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

I've had my Samsung Smart TV for almost a year and just yesterday for the 1st time ever tried to use it for that to look at recent vacation pics, and had the same problem. Thought it was just cuz I didn't know what I was doing, but this thread has me thinking otherwise now.

I have a Samsung phone too, with Screen Mirroring activated, and have registered access for my TV to use. Hell, even when I gave up on that and just physically plugged it in the TV the old fashioned way, it still wouldn't work. I don't get it.

Getting a new phone over Boxing Week, was just gonna stick with Samsung because I like how the TV and phone are (supposedly) so compatible. But if it's not even gonna work with the same freakin brand, maybe I'll just get an iPhone or something..
