Reinhart not in the lineup? On the fan 960 this morning they were speculating that he would slot in at LW somewhere. If these line combos are based on yesterday's practice, apparently Hartley has already said not to read too much into them.

I'd love to see a win tonight but it'll definitely be a tough one.

$100.

I'll send you $500 if Calgary gets shutout, you send me $100 if they don't. I'll also preface by saying I live in Ontario.

I don't think you know what 'appropriate' means

Odds of a shutout in the current NHL: approximately 14:1

Since I brought it up, I'll take 12:1 if you want to do the $100

Edit: assuming those lines above are the lines

CP, you're showing you're bipolarness again. We won a hard fought game against Chicago and everyone's happy and all smiles. We lose against Minnesota in a bit of a blow out (not until the last 10 minutes mind you) and everyone needs to have their belt and shoelaces taken away. Oh CP, never change. No, wait, PLEASE change. I'm really tired of the overt negativity.

Flames might lose this one tonight but it will be a close affair. I'm going to say an overtime loss. 3-2 Blues. Flames take a point away from one of the best teams in the league (as they've been prone to do so far).

starting to sound like that isn't the lineup - let's see what it actually is before we start making odds.

I seriously love the moves by Hartley (Scratching Backlund/Baertschi, Bouma on first line, No Reinhart, Backlund/Baertschi on 4th line, etc.) only because I love the CP meltdown that always ensues.

Since I mentioned the shutout, I am guessing you're referring to me (among others).

I would just like to say that I am not at all bipolar or a hater. I have been around for a while and I can't remember any seasons where a team won 'em all or lost 'em all.

But over the course of the season, there are tough stretches and good stretches.

I see a team with several key injuries, on a really tough road trip, an offense that has cooled off, and a coach appears to be still trying to send messages instead of using the injuries as an opportunity to give some players a shot.

To me, that all adds up to a tough game. Still be rooting for a win though

@ Enoch Root. No, you're actually fairly level-headed, although the thought that we get shutout is surprising to me.

No, it's the general craziness that ensues from a handful of posters who literally take over CP with ranting and raving. I then notice that it drives the normal level-headed posters away and all we're left with is the crazy ramblings of someone who forgot to take their pills.

It just gets old, that's all.

I went through the PGTs of the Chicago game and the Minny game kind of back to back and it is absolutely amazing how high and low some people get.

Best rebuild ever! Worst team ever!

It would be funny if it wasn't so frustrating

Those lines literally make me want to puke. But I'll still support the boys in a hard-fought 4-2 loss.

Hopefully the Flames can make it a close game. Wow, the projected lines look terrible. Jackman in the lineup is bad enough, but putting him with Monahan and Hudler? Crazy.

I was looking forward to watching Reinhart. I guess I have to wait.

So no Baertschi for the second straight game. Don't know what Jackman did last game to deserve another start, Bouma either actually, both had pretty terrible games.

Hartley even benched Bouma for most of the third, thought for sure he would be out and Baertschi would be back in.

According to Roger Millions: Baertschi is out, Reinhart is in.

....now to watch CP implode.

At least Jackman can jump someone when we're losing by 4 again!

Sooooo.... do we start a new "Baertschi's benched" thread? Or just bump the old one?
