Default Best & Worst Chocolate Bars

My first pick is probably Reese Peanut Butter Cups, traditional or the big mouth with Reese Pieces. Haven’t tried the caramel version yet.

Never got the appeal of Coffee Crisp, although I’ll still eat them when that’s all that’s left of the Halloween candy

Coffee Crisp is my number one, followed by Kit-Kat.

Worst: plain-ass American Hershey's. It's not even chocolate.

It's fun to dump on Eat-More, but it's actually one of the few chocolate bars I don't find sickly sweet.

My tastes seem to have shifted, as I no longer enjoy old favourites Snickers, Coffee Crisp, and Kit Kat. I find them excessively cloying.

Ooh and given it's the Easter season - I love the dark chocolate and the white chocolate Lindt bunnies. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I will have 4-5 of the dark between now and mid summer when I polish the last one off. One white one that I will go beast mode on some weekend here soon and then remember why I don't really like white chocolate.

Does Reese count? It's not in bar form so I guess not. Great stuff though
This is a good list. I like all those you've mentioned, except I've never had an Eat More, so I'll have to try one! I like Kit Kat, which you're missing from your list. I recently tried some Oh Henry pieces which were smaller and bite-sized which were really good, as a bar feels like too much.

Ooh a topic I feel strongly about. Chocolate bars are my weakness. I'm gonna come across as a snob (as much as someone can be a snob about everyday chocolate bars) but I don't care for much of the stuff available over here.

Grew up in Ireland so have a preference for lots of stuff from there. You can get them here in British stores or in British aisles in grocery stores here but the prices are a rip off. I have some sent over from Ireland every now and then. Absolute favourites are Fry's Chocolate Cream (original and peppermint), Wispa and any of the Galaxy range. Yorkies are good too.

There are some bars that I like here but we can also get them back home so they don't really count - Snickers, Twix, Kit Kat, Crunchie and of course the Dairy Milk range. Also Skor which are known as Dime back home.

So what do I like of the Canadian stuff? Not much but Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are amazing. I used to really like Coffee Crisp. Hershey's is frickin nasty but a Jersey Milk is decent. Nothing else comes to mind. Though weirdly I've really fallen for a Dollarama bar lately. They have a Kit Kat chunky knock off for 3 for a $1 and it's much nicer than a Kit Kat. Think it's called 4 All?. I always pick up a handful of those.

I find skor bars annoying.

They are delicious yet they are two hard to enjoy eating. They are best enjoyed in cookies, deserts, or blizzards.

So they are a terrible chocolate bar but amazing candy.

The Dollarama knockoffs are surprisingly good. The Mars (Meteor) bar is the best and the 2/$1 price is ridiculous.

I love a Cadbury Flake. They need to bring them over here.

I think it goes without saying that Reese's are the best. However, their lack of 'bar format' seems like it should exclude them from this discussion.

As such, the only reasonable answer remains...Twix.

Mirage
Caramilk
Reese big peanut butter cup
Butterfinger
Jersey Milk, but even the large 1$ Walmart bars for pure chocolate, are good.

In US,
PayDay and Reese's Fast Break

I've seen Reese in bar form but the ratio of chocolate to PB was off. The Big Cup is perfect IMO.
