[Rumour] Jack Eichel says he won't re-sign if Bylsma is coach

These rumours have been circulating for a while, that Bylsma is too difficult on the young guys and they don't like him. The coach who goes thru the most growing pains usually is fired before they hit their full potential and go on a deep run. I think on his last gig Bylsma was on the other end of one of these situations.

That makes no sense to me at all. We need to fill the holes we have, not create more holes we don't have.

A first line doesn't need to be comprised of three elite players. McDavid plays with Maroon. Matthews plays with Hyman. Crosby plays with Sheary. Toews plays with Hartman...etc. All elite center's need a worker. A dependable player who is solid in their own zone, and is a monster on the forecheck. Ferland can be that presence. I's say our biggest issues that are separating us from a cup contending team, is having an elite first line center, having a bottom pairing that can take a regular shift and a goalie that can step up and singlehandedly win games for them every so often.
