Flames are done. If it was any other team besides the Ducks I might still have hope but it almost seems like the Flames try to find ways to lose against them.
Game one the Ducks were better, but not by much.
Game two the Flames were better and got an unlucky bounce in the third.
Game three the Flames were much better and had some bad bounces, and bad beats but got it to OT.
I think the Flames have gotten better as the series as gone on and Anaheim has stumbled a bit. Without some help from BS calls (more from Toronto than the on-ice guys) and without some stupidly unlucky bounces this is a 2-1 Flames series. I seriously don't know the last time I've seen so many goals go in off of bank shots on our own players.
I think winning the next 4 is doable.

Take it one game at a time and see where it takes you. It's all they can do now. I'd love the team to get another kick at breaking the Honda center curse.

If the Flames can win game 4. I believe they can at least push it to 6 or 7 games. Ducks are on a big winning streak, but are showing big signs of faltering. Getting lucky breaks big time. Usually a team coming off a winning streak like this will stumble a bit after.
One period at a time. One game at a time.
Win game 4, Flames.

I love the optimism, but the Ducks haven't been that great. They've won 5 division titles in a row, and that team has to show up at some point.
Even if the Flames stop losing games they should win, the Ducks have four chances to show up and dominate. The Flames have four chances to show up and lay an egg.
The reason 0-3 deficits are rarely overcome is that teams that lose three in a row generally aren't teams that win four in a row, against the same team.
I'd love to have it happen, but I think in this story, David slings rocks like a girl, accidentally hit himself in the foot and while he's hopping around going "Ow Ow Ow" Goliath swoops in and murders him.
