Flames The Calgary Flames are going to come back and beat the Ducks

For every historic 3-0 comeback first the team has to endure 3 heartbreaking losses. This is the first series which i have witnessed in which the better team has lost all games do to wierd flukey bounces. This cannot continue. This is not a Flames team which is being dominated. I have a wierd feeling we will mount a comeback. We just get everything together and Elliot gets his #### together and we will beat the Ducks and break the Honda centre curse. I know i will get ridiculed for this but i honestly believe we will not be swept and will not go down without giving them a good fight.
Thanks.

Damn, was just about to make a thread asking who has hope; this is pretty much it!

Thanks for the optimism, but I'll be happy if we can take it to game 6.

One game at a time now, Flames win tomorrow and all the sudden they need 3 more. It's incredibly unlikely but I believe.

The Calgary Flames are going to get swept by the Anaheim Ducks.

That's a hell of a lot better than thinking we're done.

I'm on board.

Good to have some fans that still believe. Personally I don't see any chance we win 4 in a row against a team that has beat us for the past several seasons including 5 times this month already.

We would need 2016 playoffs Elliott for that to happen, not 2017 playoffs Elliott.

Would be nice if he could discover that March form instead of thinking it's October all over again.

We win one and i think it proves to the team that they can beat the Ducks. Break the Curse next game and all of the sudden we will be going home for game 6. Who knows maybe this was the great plan for the Flames all along. Make this season a historic one with a comeback against the team that has owned us for the last decade.

Not a chance. They're going to roll over for the sweep. It'll be a bloodbath on Wednesday. Blowout loss.

But they haven't kicked the crap out of us.
They've been very lucky, we've been undisciplined, incredibly unlucky and had weak goaltending.
We've been the better team by all metrics except for of course the important one - score. Yes, that matters most, but if we get a bounce, it could snowball in our favour. We are due...

Well, one of two things will happen now.

A) Flames lose the series
B) We get to witness history and the best series comeback our team has ever had.

No other outcomes are possible.

One at a time. Win tomorrow, then you earn another chance to break the curse.

Win both? Well that would be fun.

I'd love to jump on board, and I'd be happy to eat crow on this one, but I can't lie, I don't think they have a chance and I've already declared the season over in my mind and emotionally checked out.

I won't pretend that I won't check right back in should we somehow end up back at the Dome for a game 6, but right now tomorrow night is going to completely be about getting a night out with my bro and I likely won't even watch game 5 if there is one.

I'm not saying that's the right attitude, I actually think it's a ####ty one. I'm just emotionally drained at this point. I'm also not even mad at the team, I think they deserve better then what they got in these 3 games, and in a weird way I'm feeling incredibly optimistic about next year based on these 3 games, I'm just accepting this season wasn't their year.
