Well that likely helps my waistline and Saturday/Sunday mornings as I won't be waking up after cramming 2 egg McMuffin meals at 2 am the night before.

Sometimes it's better to just leave those things in the past.

You have probably had much better pizzas since those times, and should you get the chance to try a McDonalds pizza again, it would probably more closely resemble something from the frozen food aisle than a good pizza.

This comes after visiting Quebec and trying various poutines, and then going to my old favourite one, only to be disappointed. Though the food hadn't changed, my tastes had.

Just ask for the McMuffin egg swap when you order a McGriddle.

every time I go back home out east, I'm super excited to have poutine ... then I get about five bites in and remember that it's fries, gravy and cheese curds. Even exceptional poutine is just "alright".

To each his own, but the gravy and fries can change the poutine experience a great deal. I suspect the choice of curd might as well, but i reckon gravy and fries are the key components when it comes to poutine.

Not all fries and gravy are created equal.

I mean I'm aware of what good gravy and well cooked fries are like. It's just that it's still fries, gravy and cheese.

that's like saying hockey is just hockey. Why watch the Flames when you can watch bush league crap like....the oilers.

It's not always gravy either, some places use a poutine sauce. The cheese is probably the most important part though. St. Albert cheese curds are the best, the type of potato and how it's cooked....

Let's talk about McDonalds though, I do honestly think the BLT bagel is my favourite breakfast there though and you can get that 24 hours as long as the person you're ordering from has a bit of common sense.

I could see myself stuffing my face with McDonalds breakfast all day. So greasy and so salty. Mmmmm.

Well then. I need to try to read the signs again.
I don't read french so terribly well, but I was sure they were pimping the coming of all say breakfast here in Montreal.
Sigh...

looks like some B.C., ON and Quebec restaurants are serving breakfast items all day now. It's just a matter of time people!

On Feb. 21, McDonald's Canada will start serving breakfast beyond its usual cut-off time of 11 a.m. at 1,100 of its 1,450 restaurants.

And then less than a week later, A&W Food Services of Canada will launch its all-day breakfast program on Feb. 27. It expects 95 per cent of its 879 stores to make the transition by spring.

Good, I hate when you roll in there at 10:53am on Sunday and they've already switched to the lunch menu.

Surprised noone has mentioned the breakfast burrito's. When they are fresh they are delish and pretty cheap. Not that high in calories either.

I hate that McDonalds advertises as 24 hours but there is a window in there from like 3 AM to 4 AM when I am at my drunkest that their 'systems are down for reboot' but yet they still keep everything open.

IT ISN'T 24 HOURS MCDONALDS, 23 =/= 24!!!!!!!

They've had this in Oz for a year or so. It's nice to not have to rush in the mornings if you are hungover and in need of a cheap easy breakfast however the negative results from an increased menu size are longer wait times and frustrated staff. Also they didn't roll out the full breakfast menu all day, it's only a couple types of McMuffins, hash browns and hot cakes. For some reason my go to breakfast item, the BLT McMuffin, is not available even though they have all the ingredients sitting around and could easily combine them for me.

They changed the Bacon-Egg Bagel. It used to be the best thing on the menu, and is now un-edible. So sad.
