Big difference.
We were preparing to take off and we're just driving to the runway when I looked out my window to the right a plane was coming in to land. Our plane was actually rolling and then stopped for it to land. It was closer to us than Fords plane was to the plane in his video.

It was literally almost the exact same situation with the planes positions the same as in fords scenario.

Because our plane was delayed I thought maybe that's why it happened.

I don't believe your story. At least that it was closer or that it's the same positions, since your plane stopped while taxiing to let another land, which isn't uncommon, while Ford's plane flew DIRECTLY over the passenger plane.

Yes, you're right actually. I just rewatched it and from the angle it looked like the plane was much further than it was to the plane. I didn't realize it was directly over it.

In my situation the plane was a good 50 feet away.

Nothing in the CADORS yet for YYC that would be a scenario of an aircraft blowing a hold short the other day.

I don't know what that is exactly ... but as someone who's not so comfortable flying, it sounds like something I never want to look at.
