I went to a Blizzcon a bunch of years back. Pretty fun time - not something I'd do every year though.
Looks like Overwatch (regular and collector's editions) were up on Amazon.com for a little while this morning. Gone for now. Probably going to be a rush to get the CE again . . .
I've never played any of those games, the only Blizzard games I haven't given a go, should probably try them.

Pre-ordered Overwatch on PC, Its tempting for PS4. Warcraft is still dead to me, I plan on playing more HotS. Overall not a lot that interests me. Curious about Diablo 3 announcements later today but I jumped on Trions Devilian so it may take over my ARPG time for good.
I've been getting more and more into HOTS, the objectives really make the MOBA genre seem refreshing. I was never interested in trying to go pro or get high rank so I would just play mid wars in HON... looks like this Arena will be right up my alley.
I didn't even bother watching the WOW portion, that game is in the death spiral that all MMO's eventually reach. WOW will stay afloat longer given the large number of subscriptions, and so it deserves to, but it was evident to me during WOD that this is not the same game I used to love and obviously 5 million + people feel the same as me.
Overwatch looks tight though.

Geez, another 10 months till Legion according to Blizz's prepurchase link. Their subs are going to plummet for the next while. I didn't even make it two months when WoD came out.

I was done pretty quickly with WoD as well. Interesting how they're going to stop reporting sub numbers now that they've dropped to 5.5 million. That's still pretty good, but I guess not good enough compared to their other games?
I plan to resub a little before Legion to check out some of the stuff that came out later in WoD like Tanaan Jungle, and I'll likely get a couple months of mileage out of Legion before I quit again. I'm okay with playing that game way, personally. If their focus on dungeons and doing dailies like Diablo 3 work out, it may keep me around longer.
Interesting, I thought Overwatch was going to be F2P like HOTS.
Might not play it for $60.
Yea I was thinking the same thing, I would love to try it out but not really interested for the price of a regular game.
I had a friend at Blizzcon who sat in on one of the WOW panels, not sure which, but he said it didn't go very well for Blizzard, lots of disgruntled fans in the audience. Essentially they were upset at some of the band aid fixes the game has received and its becoming evident that they are siphoning resources away from the game. Anyone else go who can comment on this?
When I played WOD I remember thinking how unpolished and almost broken the whole thing felt. Compared to Vanilla where it was this seamless experience anyway. The new PvP system and just the way that gear scaled really put me off and like most I didn't last very long. I think one of the things I hated the most was that I couldn't have one Garrison for all of my characters. Why on earth would I want to spend 3/4 of my play time just trying to keep my garrisons up? I understand it was completely optional, but in the grand scheme of things is anything REALLY optional in WOW if you want to scale with the content?

I didn't go this year (haven't for a while now) but are you talking this? (I haven't watched it yet)
