This should make us all warm inside (although I acknowledge that this was not at Azteca):
Speaking of Azteca Stadium, I know that it holds about 100,000. Is that likely to be filled today? Not that it really matters as it will still be hostile, but I am just curious.

I'm willing to get my hopes for tonight unreasonably high if you guys are.
We're not out of the fight!
I was at that game back in 2008. We were already eliminated while the mexicans were in a three way dog fight with Honduras and Jamaica. We were far from a full A squad and had no reason to be in it at all, yet we surprised and actually controlled the match for most of the 90 minutes.
My point is, in my time as a voyageur, we've always been at our worst in the games we were supposed to do well in, but gotten surprising results when we were supposed to have no chance. I'm hoping today is one of those days. And even if it isn't, we are still very much in this group. The last game was a letdown, and there have been many of those over the years, but it is not the end of the world.
A game at Azteca seems like such a fun experience, I know there's Voyageurs there for today. Hope it's fun for them at least
I guarantee you they are having a blast. Seeing all their pictures is making me quite jealous I didn't join with. The Voyageurs organized a behind the scenes tour of Azteca, a tequila tour, watching Luchadore wrestling and checking out some Mayan ruins.
Seriously. I don't know why they think they can break Mexico down when their defence is set. We should be trying to score from set pieces and on the counter.
