Default McAfee warning

Hey Guys,

I get at home a warning for McAfee Web Advisor, says forum.calgarypuck.com contains no data and it warns me it is a risky site.

Now at work the McAfee Web Gateway is giving me the same thing "PUPs (potentially unwanted programs)

This started Monday I believe as Friday at work I was fine.

Any idea?

Not sure, the CPHL site did get infected, but we've removed Joomla entirely so that was cleaned up, and the rating seems to be for the specific domain.

Checked on that and the www.calgarypuck.com and cphl.calgarypuck.com come back fine, but the forum doesn't. But checked with the securi scan and that comes back with no infections.

Sometimes people post pictures or URLs to sites that have a bad reputation and the scanners pick that up.

I guess the only thing to do is I'll use that McAfee form to submit a request to reclassify or give more details.

Yeah I got an email that they've changed their classification, though some systems may need some time depending on how often they pull the list from McAfee
