That was a strike?? It looks like it's a bit high. Goins got robbed there.

The strike zone has been quite inconsistent today

Tanaka has settled into a groove. The Jays missed their opportunity early when he didn't seem to be on his game. Hopefully they can get into the Yanks pen early.

barring a major comeback, it will change after today
but right now, the Yankees are closer to being outside the playoff picture altogether than they are to the Jays

Pennington definitely can play defense. Made some great plays this weekend.

Lucky to get out of that. Hopefully that's the turning point of the game.

Okay, so they'll probably lose this one. Still an awesome series.

Oh well. Still up 3.5 after today's loss. 3 out of 4 is a pretty great result.

Logan Forsythe just doubled on a sharp line drive to LF at the Trop to cash in Mikie Mahtook. TB1 NYY0. Yanks are 3 outs away from losing this game.
Don't mind that the boys lost last night because a)day off today b)we're facing the Braves next. That's one thing that I really admire with the Rays organization, you know what you're getting when you face them. Amazing starting pitching, great bullpen, top notch defence, and noodle bats. If they can fix the last Rays trademark, I honestly believe that they can have a yankees-like DYNASTY in this division. Fortunately the reality is that their attendance sucks and that they are a small market/moneyball team. Maybe when they move to Montreal they can spend more dough.

That's some trademark Tampa Bay defence there. WOW. One more out.

Ugh. That blows. Great to see our boy JP. Arencibia enjoying a fruitful september call up though.
Welp. Andrew Miller is now warming up.

that was truly disgusting
after the double play off the wall in the 7th, I thought maybe the Rays were going to do us a favour tonight
