A one-way deal for league minimum would be ideal I would think for Bouma. A real chance to prove he still belongs in the NHL.

For some reason I was half expecting Bouma to sign with Vancouver or Edmonton.

Glad to hear he's with Chicago

Good for him. A lot of people trashed him on the way out, but Bouma was a guy who put his body on the line for this team many times over. Glad he found another job.

Good for him. Didn't think Chicago would sign him. Actually didn't think he'd get signed by any NHL team. Honestly thought Bouma would be Europe bound.

Good for him, and good luck in Chicago (except for when he plays the Flames).

Nah.

Bouma is a great 4th line forward when priced right. Can skate well enough to move up to #3, top pk unit player.

It will be a 1 way deal for about a million I bet

Glad he's not here anymore. Hope he sticks with the Blackhawks, but I don't know. He has about borderline NHL talent.

Very happy to see this. Couldn't fit him on the team, but glad a team wanted him

And a good team at that

Yeah all those blocked shots really broke his hand.

Best of luck to Lance Bouma! Except against the Flames.

If he can regain his form and what he's capable of, he'll be a handful to play against. Glad he's not in the Pacific at least

Glad for Bouma, he battled hard and sacrificed his body for the Flames. Hopefully he can find his mojo and stick around the NHL a bit longer

I wish him all the best but I feel it'll be like a Josh Jooris in NYR or Raymond in Anaheim, see him hitting waivers before January
