I'm sold on the "almost" bezel-less screen - in a few years when more phones are like that we'll probably wonder how we lived with losing the screen real estate to a home button. They need to find a way to hide the front facing cameras and speaker under the screen somehow in a future version.

You do realize Apple is one of the holdouts on having a physical button on the front of the phone, right? Especially since the iPhone 8 still has one.

So the latest leaks were all pretty much correct, kind of makes the event anti-climactic.

Looks nice, I want to see how big it is compared to the 4.7" phones. The full sized screen probably looks better in person.

Otherwise just more evolution.

The FaceID is probably better than TouchID for us in the winter, no need to take off the gloves, but I'm not positive I'd like it better.

Yes, both the 8 and the X have wireless charging, AND they use an open technology. I'm still pretty surprised about that.

Can you buy an iPhone in the US and use it here with no issues? The exchange rate and the pricing difference from Apple are not at all in line right now.

Apple is out to lunch with their CAD pricing. Good thing I'm an Android guy.

The leaks were actually quite small and far between, until this past weekend. I can't remember where I read it, but it's been pretty much verified that it was an internal leak and disgruntled employee that released all the GM info. I believe BBC did an article on it.

I like that Apple is going with an industry standard for wireless charging: Qi (pronounced chi). This is great for all devices (Android, etc) that use wireless. It means even more choices, brands and availability will come to the table.

The only feature I've ever really seen on Android I truly wanted on an iPhone was double tap to wake.
