37 shots on net... can't say they didn't give the old college try.

Flames had a fun season. Elliott ties the goalie win streak record, Flames tie the win streak record. All in all, I'd say that was a great season considering the changes in coaching, net and structure.

I'll say the Flames make the jump next season. The arrival of the like of Andersson, Jankowski and Gillies to name the primary graduates will add youth and energy.

Good season Flames. Thank you

Proud of the guys for playing hard all night. They outplayed the Ducks for the whole game, so they can hold their heads high.

Except for Elliott. Going to be a long summer for him.

Wow, unbelievable to not win a single game in 4 chances.

Quite disappointed right now in this group.

This was the worst possible match-up for our pint sized phenom, not much he can do against the ultra physical, head hunting Ducks.

Maddening no doubt, but the refs just wouldn't call icing until a Calgary player got near the puck. Ducks wasted nearly 2 minutes on icings the refs didn't call. Cogliano's was brutal and obvious.

A bit of goaltending and a bounce or two goes our way and we are up 3-1 in the series. Frustrating as hell, but what can you do.

Should've played the damn Blackhawks. Damn Nashville Predators, just had to give up that stupid shortie with seconds left.

Meh, hard luck series... goaltending bad, bad bounces, questionable calls, timid play by Gaudreau. They get a couple breaks and this could have been a different outcome.

Now what makes me relieved, I am in Japan, I go outside now and no one and easily forget this as I am a good 10,000kms from anyone who cares about this!

Hopefully that Ducks horseshoe stays where it is if they play the Oil.

Sucks, but the Flames were the better team for like 80% of the series, yet they got swept. That's insane. I think the biggest culprits were goaltending and mental game. Ducks are in their heads. Couldn't get over the hump. If we had competent goaltending the last 2 games, we would be talking about game 5 right now.

Ridiculous.

Great. Like the Honda Centre curse wasn't bad enough, now there's a Saddledome curse too.

Was terrible luck drawing the hottest team in the league going into the first round.

Still a lot of young players on this team. Hopefully they'll learn from this added experience and a couple apt moves in the off season will see us take a step forward next year.
