So what happens in this election today? The BC Liberals have always sort of got by on the premise that they aren't the NDP. They've generally had lousy leadership, and more or less are Social Credit with a new name as they were the non NDP vote in the 92 Election, and have more or less lived off that since. I'm no NDP supporter, but I suspect they have a shot because it's generally a fickle population, and it's been about 16 years under the Liberals there.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if the Liberals don't win at this point, unless we see a sudden mass migration of Green votes to the NDP. Yet another classic case of the left shooting itself in the foot via vote-splitting. For the Greens it's even dumber because an NDP win likely at leads to a chance at PR, which ultimately helps the Greens down the line but the Green voters I've talked to about this are extremely delusional and think that there's going to be a minority government under which they'll hold the hammer.

Final Prediction:
BC Liberal Majority, Greens finish with 6 seats and become an official party.

This province is a joke.
For the first time in my adult life (I'm 33) I couldn't bring myself to vote in a municipal, provincial or federal election.

Early results show Liberals flirting with close to another majority.

Vancouver-Mount Pleasant?
I think Melanie Mark is a good candidate.

This election I've been moved to Vancouver False Creek as we're right by Science World and Quebec St.
We have a close race actually between former mayor Sam Sullivan and trans gender Morgan Oger.

This is a lot closer than i expected so far. 43-41 liberals and i think the two ridings to come are ndp incumbents. But lots of close and low counts so could still open up

It might be strategic voting for the NDP.

How unfortunate, Anita Bathe.
I remember the benches for Calgary realtor Anita Dick.

Who wins might come down to Skeena, where 8 votes separate the Libs and NDP right now.

Yep, probably a few ridings will go to recounts as well, could be super duper close.

Liberals with a 3% edge in the popular vote right now, and losing in seats.
