The speculation on HF is that if Sutter gets a seemingly terrible return from the Leafs ( Stajan + White?  ), it's because he's also going after another big player.

Wow..... For the last 3-5 games Phaneuf has been playing his way onto the Olympic team.
At least he won't be under pressure to win any games with the Leafs.
Schenn had better be coming back.
The Leafs just had their worst loss of the year (being up 3-0)at home and falling apart. Chances are they were the ones holding the deal up waiting for their assets to perform.
Schennn, Kessell and Kadri ?
The Flames must have been really dissapointed in Phanuef to punish him by sending him to the Leafs.

heard that a Toronto radio station is saying Stajan and White for Phaneuf. Doesn't seem to be enough especially with Sjostrom and Aulie included. Unless there's people from Anahiem included.
Regardless, a rumour I heard. :S
