I thought maybe they made a decision to allow those pushed in goals now, and we were just the first team it happened to. But no, its just the Wideman effect.

Ahh Shultzy with the first of the 3 in a minute. Love this player now if only for the symbolism of faliure that he represents for the Oilers.. hilarious at times just thinking about how his career did a complete 180 the day he left... he literally went to a true city of champions and became one. Priceless.

Marchand with his 31st and 32nd so far tonight. This guy has turned into an absolute gem of a player - I see aspects of his game in Tkachuk honestly. Can you believe there were even rumours of trading this guy a couple years back? Seems insane now.

Winnipeg needs to fire Chevy and Maurice this summer.

Chevy has done a very poor job of building his team. He never makes any moves and has basically the Kane blockbuster which looks to be a good trade for both teams but is no longer the clear win for the Jets. The Jets have been back for 6 seasons with one playoff appearance and zero wins.

It would be a very desirable job for prospective GM's. Laine, Schifele, Ehlers, Trouba are great pieces to build with. Get a new coach, make a shake up trade and try again next year but Chevy needs to go
