Default March 5 with six games.

The Islanders-Flames game is nearly over with a positive result so here is the Sunday OOT which includes a pair of compelling western conference games.

Wins on back-to-back nights in So-Cal? Come on, Nucks, you can do it!

Let's just hope the Avs decide to actually shoot the puck if they get any breakaways tonight. Might be too much to ask, though.

I'd love for this to be the game where the players revolt on Carlyle and refuse to win another game for him this year.

The Sabres had a 3-0 lead after twenty minutes. The Penguins are making a come back as it is 3-2 after forty minutes.

The BJs scored two goals in the second period and lead 2-0 after forty minutes.

The Wild lead 2-1 after one period. Many here on CP want to see the Wild win.

The Canucks will start Richard Bachman and the Ducks will have Bernier in net, battle of the back up goalies.

I wonder if the Avalanche will show up for their home game against the Blues. The Blues are definitely in a slump.

It is part two of the home-away series between the Hurricanes and Coyotes. That is a bizarre scheduling quirk.

It's going to be tough as Richard Bachman is between the pipes for Vancouver tonight.

Which still leaves him at a whopping -43 in his career.

I honestly don't think Colorado will win another game this year

The department of player safety should just shut down the Avalanche for the rest of the year. Give the other team two points and don't play the game. I suspect Avs fans would rather watch the ice freeze than those losers.

What a useless bunch of pride less losers. This collection of players is far worse than what the Oilers could sink to in a single season.

Vancouver should be as bad or worse than Colorado, but at least they still show up.

The Blues already have a 2-0 lead just 5:33 into the game. The Avalanche are mailing it in!

Good news, the Wild defeat the Sharks 3-1.

The Penguins complete the comeback and win 4-3 in regulation time.

For those having a hard time stomaching cheering for the Canucks to win, I offer the following:

1. Obvious - beating the Ducks helps the Flames
2. Canucks doing well at this time of year weakens their draft position
3. Canucks doing well gives Benning false sense that team doesn't need a rebuild, helping maintain mediocrity in Lotusland
4. Helps guarantee Sedins continue their decline in Vancouver.
5. Helps keep Benning employed (win)
6. Ducks have a lot of the ex-Canucks we really hate

Ducks score, but immediately waved off as a kicking motion. Reviewing now.

No goal and no Kase (kasha) for the Ducks.

Truthfully I hate the current Ducks more than the Canucks.

I actually hate Anaheim as much as any team in the league.
