Yeah, that would be awesome if we could get Dale Weise and his 16 points last season as he just starts a $2.35AAV/4 year deal. Just think how much his downward trajectory could randomly turn the other way!

Ever since Bouma left I've been thinking "Man, it would be great if we could get a worse contract than Bouma's with worse numbers to take up a spot on our fourth line!".

Stone probably gets traded for his final year. One of Valimaki/Fox/Kylington/Andersson should be ready, if not two. I feel like Kulak will be supplanted as well during this time. Ferland might go to UFA, but if he performs like we're hoping then the Flames have to bring him back. Brouwer probably gets bought out if he has another bad year.

I'd like to see us go after Grabner on a cheap shortie contract when he hits UFA - he can be the next "Versteeg" for us. Other than that I don't foresee any earth shattering moves in UFA or trades from Treliving in this next little window. Too expensive to make sense, and we've burned off quite a few draft assets to chase a Cup.
