The worst part about this is they say there is no guarantee on how long they will support it. So, you could order one and get it in June then find out Budweiser isn't providing the back end support next season and have an expensive decoration that doesn't fulfill its main purpose.
No thanks. Maybe I will buy one in October if they are still supporting it and I have $150 I'm not feeling too attached to.

I don't know about any rules forbidding any celebrity from endorsing alcohol, but it does violate the NHL CBA. Laraque got in trouble for it a few years ago when he was with the Habs: http://nesn.com/2009/10/montreals-ge...in-alcohol-ad/
Also, Budweiser isn't an official sponsor of the NHL anymore, so I'm sure that's another reason they had to use two names that could never be confused for any real players' names.

I checked these redlights out the next day after the Superbowl and they were already sold out at $150 a pop.
Cool product but i thought it was kind of ridiculous that Budwiser was already sold out of them which made me think they only really released an initial small amount to the public and that they are deliberatly creating a large back order of them for the playoffs.

GameCentre Live is like 10 seconds behind the NHL.com score updates. Which are pretty much on par if not a little bit behind CBC. So sometimes when I go to check faceoff percentages or shots on goal I'll see a goal was scored without actually watching it. So this goal light would do nothing but ruin the game for me. But it would probably be pretty cool for those watching a stream that's synced.

I hate how Lando and Shanko are on Vancouver and they score the winning goal against Calgary, with Hughson announcing that terrible commercial.
