iphone - itouch switcheroo

I have an iphone, with apps, music etc. but I've barely used itunes, ever.

My wife just got an itouch and mac at the same time as I got a blackberry. She has never used itunes. I have to use the blackberry for work.

So, what I want to do is set up and share the itunes account on the mac, and load the iphone apps on the itouch. I'll use the touch. My wife will use the phone.

- switch the iphone from my name to my wifes (does apple care? or is it just the device name)
- keep the music and apps etc
- set up the itouch on the same itunes account
- add the same music and apps etc.
- as we add new music, make it available to both

Has to be dead easy for the wife to sync afterward.

Any trick to this? Just start plugging stuff into the Mac and go for it?

pretty sure you just plug them into the computer and in iTunes set the preferences in the tabs. I don't think anyone cares whose name is on the phone. Whatever account is being used on itunes just keep using it.

As long as both devices are authorized on the Mac (I believe it's under the advanced menu, or you'll just be prompted when you try to sync) you'll be able to sync content to it. My wife has a touch and I have a phone and we share everything I buy.
